Pastoral Staff:

The Pastoral Staff consists of the full-time, paid, professional staff who assist Fr. Thorne in his responsibilities, duties and ministry on behalf of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. Together with him they share the responsibility for insuring faithfulness to the Parish Vision: The restoration of all to God, the Father, through the love of Jesus Christ.

Parish Councils and Committees:

• Advisory Council:
  The Advisory Council has the responsibility to advise and assist the Pastor in all matters pertaining to the Church of the Assumption; to provide liason between the lay membership of the Church of the Assumption and the Pastor; and to encourage and develop support of the lay members of the parish in the various activities and to provide liason with the local community.
  
  Membership in the Advisory Council consists of the chairperson or a representative of each of the major parish ministries and organizations in existence at the time.

  The Priests, Religious and Deacons, as well as the two committees below are also represented along with up to a maximum of eight members-at-large who are selected by the pastor.

• Finance Committee:
  The Finance Committee assists the Pastor in administering the temporal affairs of the parish. They meet aprroximately once per quarter.
  
  

• Buildings and Grounds Committee:
  The Building and Grounds Committee advises the pastor on matters pertaining to the Church, School and Rectory buildings as well as all property owned by the parish.
